TESTIMONIALS

We are proud to have so many of our clients become champions of FED. Here’s a selection of what some of them have said or done:

Lord Gus O’Donnell, former Head of the Civil Service talked about FED in his evidence to a House of Commons enquiry into the future of the Civil Service:

There is a very clear leadership mantra I started within the Civil Service. If you want to take people with you, you just need to do something very simple. That is, spell out the future that we are trying to achieve. Once you have laid out what you are trying to get to, then engage the staff on how you are going to achieve that. Then deliver it. It is Future – Engage – Deliver.

Stephen Lehane, the Alliance Boots HR Director, put it this way:

We needed to prioritise leadership to bring a new energy into the business. This was a challenge but the leadership initiative that we have been running has had a big impact. People are behaving differently, there is a much greater sense of self-awareness and confidence is growing as people see the impact they are having on result.

After we had worked with Dame Fiona Reynolds when she was head of The National Trust, she wrote:

‘Leadership Plain and Simple’ is an extraordinarily powerful book, full of deep, inspiring ideas that are simple, practical and make a real difference.

We have helped run the Marketing Society Leadership Programme for the last 10 years and are the chosen advisors to the Society on leadership.

The Chief Executive, Hugh Burkitt, says:

Future – Engage – Deliver has to be the simplest, fastest way for anyone to grow as a leader.

The Head of the Foreign Office, Simon Fraser, Invited Steve to speak at their annual conference alongside David Cameron, William Hague and Seb Coe. Simon made sure every British Ambassador left with a copy of the book and writes:

I invited Steve to address the our 2012 Leadership Conference, the main annual event for all British Ambassadors abroad plus our senior leadership in London. He did an excellent job in energising the room with some highlights of his Future Engage Deliver model, and adapting it to our own Diplomatic Excellence agenda. He is an inspiring speaker with much to offer any organisation trying to develop its leadership capability.

We have worked with Keith Weed, Unilever’s Chief Marketing & Communication Officer for years. He was so taken with the book that we created 2000 copies of an edition personalised to Unilever and his global team.
